This Week In Male Violence

Male violence is not a problem of individual bad actors. It is a form of global terrorism against women designed to keep us in our place our of fear, in need of “protection” from men against other men.
Women’s liberation can not be achieved unless we name the problem.

Man killed two children, held wife hostage, after blowing lottery winnings on prostitutes
David Stokes of Hinckley, Leicestershire has killed his two sons (5 and 11 years old) and held his wife hostage in their home before killing himself last month. His wife, Sally, suspects that he used a date-rape drug to sedate her. The couple had separated months prior, and the incident occurred after Sally discovered her husband has spent part of his £40,000 lotto winnings on prostitutes. She said, “He was saying it was all my fault. The fact is he was the one who was sleeping with prostitutes.”

Teku Laxmi, 30, found gang-raped and murdered in Asifabad, India.
Villagers discovered Laxmi’s body in the forest two days after she was reported missing by her family. Laxmi was traveling in the village selling small wares. Her killers remain at large, and there have been protests calling for them to be publicly hung.
21-year-old business student, Precious Ramabulana, raped and stabbed 52 times
A 21-year-old student, Precious Ramabulana, was found stabbed in her room. She was studying business management at Capricorn TVET (South Africa), and had aspirations of helping her family overcome poverty. The police have arrested a 28-year-old suspect.

Ruth George, 19, sexually assaulted and murdered in Chicago, ignored a man’s catcalls
Donald Thurman, 26, is being charged with first-degree murder and sexual for the death of Ruth George, a 19-year-old student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She was an honors student studying kinesiology. Reportedly, she was walking to a parking garage when Thurman started following and catcalling her. She ignored his advances, and he got out of the car, grabbed her from behind, and suffocated her. He pulled her into his car, and sexually assaulted her once she became unconscious. Thurman has confessed to the crime.

Man who set ex-girlfriend’s home on fire spared jail because he was ‘badly affected’ by break-up
Kristaps Karnats was given a suspended sentence by a female judge for intentionally setting his ex-girlfriend’s house on fire after a breakup. Karnats smashed his ex’s house up, piled her clothes in the hallway, and set them on fire after the breakup. He was described as a hard-working guy who was at a low risk to re-offend, “It was an acute stress reaction to the loss of his partner, who had been his first and only girlfriend.”
Three teenage boys plead guilty for hate crime against lesbian couple on London bus
Melania Geymonat, 28, and her American girlfriend Chris Hannigan reported being attacked on a London bus on May 30th. Three minors between the ages of 15 and 16 are now being sentenced for the attack, which involved stolen property and aggravated assault. leading up to the incident, the couple had was harassed by the boys who demanded they kiss. The boys made lews sexual and homophobic comments before punching them and running off the bus.

Male transgender detainee is released from prison after impregnating, beating, female inmate
Gabriela Nahir Fernández, 27 (male), was sentenced to three years in prison in 2017 for gender-based violence and threads. With the help of his lawyer, he convinced the court that he believed he was a woman, and was transferred to a women’s prison in accordance with Argentine law. While there, he engaged in sexual contact with multiple female prisoners, including one who became pregnant. Fernández then “savagely beat” the pregnant woman, according to 11 witnesses. After the discovery, Fernández was released from prison on parole, presumably because there was no place else to put him.
K-pop stars found guilty of filming gang-rape of drugged women
According to the Korea Herald, K-pop stars Jung Joon-young (30) and Choi Jong-hoon (29) have been sentenced to six years and five years in prison, respectively, for sex offenses. They were found guilty of gang-raping women who were under the influence of alcohol. Jung was also found guilty of sharing secretly filmed sex videos and photos, including those taken during the gang rape, via online group chats.
The sentence comes just days after K-pop star Goo Hara (28) committed suicide after a long and public battle with her ex, Choi Jong-bum, whom she accused of assaulting her and threatening her with revenge porn.

Dr. Priyanka Reddy, found raped, smothered, burnt, murdered in Shadnagar, India
Four men Mohammad Areef (driver), Jollu Naveen (cleaner), Chennakeshavulu (cleaner), Jollu Shiva (driver) have been accused of participating in the brutal rape and murder of Dr. Priyanka Reddy. The men spotted Reddy parking her scooter, and hatched a plan together to rape her, involving flattening a tire and offering to help fix it when she returned. The men then raped her, killing her by covering her mouth and nose during the attack. Reddy is reported to have called her sister during the moments leading up to the attack, saying, “They are all waiting outside. I am scared.”
Following the attack, Reddy’s name has the most search term on Indian porn sites, apparently in hopes that the attackers filmed the rape and murder.

Man haled as “hero” in London Bridge attacks is convicted murder of 21-year-old disabled woman
James Ford has been called a “hero” by British media after he helped stop a knife attack (by another mane) on the London Bridge, which left two dead on Friday. Ford was convicted in 2003 and sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 21-year-old Amanda Champion. Champion suffered from a learning disability that left her with the cognitive ability of a teenager. Ford strangled her, and then slit her throat. He was out of jail to attend a prisoner rehabilitation conference.
